The books, movies, music, and games in this catalog are all things which I have read, watched, played or enjoyed personally. Anything on here is a recommend, because they're all on my own shelves, (unless I've lent them out and they didn't come home, or I borrowed them and returned them.) Nothing is recommended just to be trendy or because of keyword placement. Probably you already have most of them, but in case you were wondering "Is this really as good as they say?" this may serve to reassure you that yes, sometimes everybody's right. You can buy them via the Amazon links, and I make a couple cents on the dollar for each one, or you can just note down the titles and buy them locally, but you can do either in the confidence that you'll probably like them if you like my own writing or any of the other things I've recommended.

This was at one point going to be a beautifully arranged page with capsule reviews, exerpts, screen caps and all kinds of goodies about each work, all of which would be thematically organized in intuitive ways. Instead, it's ended up looking like my own shelves, except that on the physical ones the disks, tapes and books often end up mixed together, "in a sandwichy sort of way," not just fiction and non-fiction, and I've tried to keep them separate on the virtual ones.

(I'm trying to figure out a way to link to discussion space, spoilery or otherwise, but I haven't got the bugs worked out yet.)
